Senior finance leadership - without a full-time hire
I'm David Williams. After more than 14 years as Group CFO in two international groups, I now work as a fractional CFO for growth companies and scale-ups: part of the leadership team a few days a month, through funding rounds, growth and change.
Before going independent, I spent ten years at Implement Consulting Group, a Nordic management consultancy with around 1,700 employees and EUR 400m in revenue, leading Group Finance for the last eight and a half years - the last five as Group CFO. Earlier I was Group CFO at Epinion, with operations in Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, the UK and Vietnam, and I started my career in PwC Transaction Services.
My focus is practical execution, clear communication and numbers that hold up - not just on paper.
How I Work

You get an experienced CFO as part of your leadership team - typically a few days a month on a fixed monthly retainer, scaled up around funding rounds, transactions or year-end. My approach is anchored in two core principles:
